- Hi Fergananim, I tried to leave but got up to my neck again in it, if you see the recent spat. One quality I greatly admire is fairness, and I hope WP keeps that way. I agree about the highhingship etc, and I suppose it's more complex. When I read the history of some neighbouring nations, on WP, I then realise that the Irish sections are very true to the facts. I come to it from a simpler format, in that Ireland was fairly a one culture Gaelic island. Some folks would say that Ireland was never one, and that suits their view. Historically Ireland was one in my interpretation. Gaeilge was spoken from north to south, pretty much on that basis. The very first line isn't mine. I knew it was risky, thanks.
