Interlanguage links are links from a Wikipedia article in one language to a corresponding page in another language. These links are accessible through the language selector dropdown menu, which appears as: XX languages, in the upper right corner of the page when using the default Vector 2022 skin. In other skins, it can be found in the "Languages" section of the page's left sidebar.^[1]

Less commonly, interlanguage links can be used as inline links in the text of a Wikipedia page using the {{Interlanguage link}} template.

These two types of links are created and handled differently.
