Wikipedia:WikiProject South Africa/Style guide/Government/Cabinet

During their first term in office, the article must be named Cabinet of <name here> followed by their abbreviated or full name, depending on what is most commonly used. If elected for a second term in office, you must move and redirect the original article to a page titled First Cabinet of <name here> and the new cabinet must be labelled Second Cabinet of <name here>.

Many of the politicians between 1910-1994 were listed using their initials and surname. Some of their individual articles are titled using their full name, but for the cabinet table listing it must match the naming conventions of the time. We follow the style laid out by Wikipedia Manual of Style, which states "an initial is followed by a full stop (period) and a space (e.g. J. R. R. Tolkien)". While this convention must apply to the article title (e.g. First Cabinet of J. B. M. Hertzog), you can leave out the space when displaying the names in the article itself.
