• Comment: Each debate has two teams, the Proposition and the Opposition. Three members from each team speak in each round, delivering a total of six eight-minute substantive speeches. Then, each team delivers a 4-minute "reply speech".
  The tournament includes six preliminary rounds in which all teams participate. Two preliminary rounds are always prepared, using either one motion or two separate motions.
