Andrew Cottingham (Née Andrew Cocktoe); born 11 October 1961, is an English author. Among his published works are the two Mr. Winderbilt books: Winderbilt Over Floodsville [1] and Mr. Winderbilt and the Modern Conveyance [2].
He is also author and publisher of various magazines and comics, commencing with Mach 3 Comix Issue 1 (1977), illustrated by Marin Chaplin et al, through poetry and art in a variety of small press publications, including (with Roger Braithwaite) The God King of Upper Europe (1982), The Gentleman’s Art Journal (1984), Excerpts (1989).
His work, including articles, comics, prose pieces has appeared in a number of publications from the early years of the UK small press and comix / stripzine scene.
In 2015, Past Live, a limited edition of new and collected prose, poetry and artwork was produced alongside long-term collaborator and designer, Simon Russell. Past Live [3] [4] was republished in 2023.
