As selectinas (CD62) son unha familia de moléculas de adhesión celular (ou CAMs). Todas as selectinas son glicoproteínas transmembrana dun só paso que comparten propiedades similares ás das lectinas tipo C debido a teren un amino terminal relacionado e a unión dependente de calcio.[2] As selectinas únense a residuos de azucre e así son consideradas un tipo de lectina, proteínas de adhesión celular que se unen a polímeros de azucre.[3]
